This is the best korean restaurant that takes pride in real authentic korean food. The quality of the foods, the presentation of the side dishes and service and price is amazing! Korean restaurants in Flushing use to be like this place but nowadays korean restaurants have loss their peide in korean food over profits. I recommend this place! I thank the owner and staff for keeping it real and staying true to the korean culture in representing Korean food the right way! They even give you a sweet dessert drink which is a tradition ! They sell frozen dumplings and white kimchi to take home and these are amazing! God Bless this place!!

Food 4/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambiance 3.5/5 Good food and quality. Ordered a bunch of different types of dishes... everything was pretty good and nothing much to complain about. I guess only thing that bothered me was my to go order. I dined in and placed a to-go order. The order was done however it was left sitting for a very long time. We asked them about it and was informed they left it in the front and forgot to inform us. So... I guess if you place a Togo order when dining in just follow up time to time so you don't need to wait for a very long time.

Good food, great service! Staff cooks the bbq for you. Be careful of over ordering the bbq meats, though you can take home. The bulgogi, samgyupsal, and spicy chicken are recommended. The banchan is great. Lots of dishes cone out for you to snack on or eat with your bbq meats or wrap in your ssam. The other side dishes are good, too, like the pajun, bibimbap, sundubu and japchae. Remember to get some soju as well!

Our go to Korean. Never a fail. Only issue may be the noise level, especially with a group of golfers right next to you. To be fair, we were a fairly large group on a Monday night and the source of the noise level that night so can't really complain. Still, food is worth it all. Every dish is perfect and the service impeccable. Parking lot is small but there is usually some street parking on Northern.

With all the Korean BBQ places in Queens I finally ended up at Sung Book Dong. To say I love Korean barbecue would be an understatement. The restaurant is large with each table having its own hanging vacuum for the smoke from the barbecue to go into. The portions of the food are quite nice so we ordered a set of steak barbecue and a fish soup. The staff was quick to get our order and start cooking it for us. They were extremely attentive and continued to run over to make sure the food was being cooked properly and drinks were flowing. The food was quite tasty and flavorful.

still the best place for korean BBQ near us. Love this place! We always get the combo, even if we have a larger party, each person just orders a BBQ dish and comes to tofu soup or cold noodle.

Food here is always good with friendly service. The parking lot gets crowded though so you might be able to find street parking as well. I LOVE their combo specials.

The food here is excellent! The spicy squid entree had so much flavor and the spice level was good. The short rib was marinated well and cooked to perfection. We also had the scallion pancake and the dumplings. I preferred the dumplings over the pancake but both were tasty. The service was fast and friendly, we got our food in minutes. The ambiance of this restaurant is more so mom and pop authentic food. No extra frills and loud music. It's a nice spot to go to actually sit and be able to talk to your group. Overall would highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

This is the first time I've ever had KBBQ, my Korean friend kept raving & stated we had to go to one that was "authentic" so I took her word! We called another place nearby and the wait was an hour long and I was hangry so that was a quick no. I decided to call & the lady that picked up the phone said "come on by ladies!" and I knew right away this was the spot I needed to go to. We arrived and the lady was so welcoming; had our table ready. As for food, my friend took over so I honestly could not tell you what I ate - all I know is that it was delish! They end off with a cup of tea which ended the meal perfectly! A great first KBBQ experience!
